A babe in this world entered
No idea of the suffering at hand
Under protection it grew
Until one day tragedy struck
As some had said
"What bad luck!"
The new enterant paced
With pain on her face
As reality lead her
That with hesitant step
To the turmoiled world
Which she could not discern
She reached out her hand
For support to stand
A wish for a hug
To fight realities tug
But just as she was slipping away
Thinking that the world
Was a horrible place to stay
The cold chill of the day
Began to be swept away
By the warmth of the smile
That was passed her way
Reluctantly she stretched
And tried to reach out
"For the last time," she said
With the little hope she had left
To her suprise she found
A listening ear
And a voice which dispelled her fears
She held firm that hand
As she stumbled along
Realising atlast
That all was not lost
And thankfull for not giving up
